I attach the garden screens vertically on the sunny side and cover them with row covers (see them at amazon.com), held in place with binder clips. You can still add fences and covers to a raised bed for extra protection. Live traps come in different sizes and shapes.
A few of my raised beds are in very sunny locations and the plants get too much heat. An elevated vegetable planter may work for you. This will prevent rabbits from digging under the bottom edge.
Last year i put up a 3ft chicken wire fence around the garden, but this dog is a jumper (she can go over a 6ft fence) and it made no difference. How can i keep my dog out of my raised bed garden? Fences work best when the animal doesn't know what it's protecting.
